"Taibani Smut Week" AO3 collection is finally open here!

Once the event starts on July 31, the collection will not be moderated, so every fan will be able to post their works to the collection!

Requirements to add your work to AO3:

Rating: Mature or Explicit

Fandoms: Tiger & Bunny

Relationships: Barnaby "Bunny" Brooks Jr./Kaburagi T. Kotetsu

Please use Archive Warnings properly. Content warnings in the tags are also heavily encouraged. For extreme kinks, dark topics (violence, blood, etc.) and non-consensual sex they are especially recommended.

About other kind of content (kinky or vanilla), tags are always useful for both fans of that content and people who want to avoid it. So even if they're not necessarily triggers, it's a good habit to tag what your work is about, especially if it features AUs or specific headcanons (examples: genderbending, mpreg, furry, mermaid AU, tattoos, trans headcanons, scars, etc.) or a specific top/bottom preference.

Even if the collection isn't moderated, the admin reserves the right to remove works that don't meet the minimum requirements (for example, if they're tagged with a different rating or ship) or works that are evidently posted in bad faith.

Taibani Smut Week - Guidelines and FAQs

Taibani Smut Week is a Tiger&Bunny fandom event for adults (18+), about fan-works featuring sexual content between Kotetsu and Barnaby.

Every adult fan can join and have fun!
The event is not moderated, so these are just "guidelines", not "rules". Every person is solely responsible for the content they make and post, and every fan is encouraged to curate their own experience.

Where does the event take place?

Primarily on Twitter here. Follow "Taibani Smut Week" account and turn on notifications to get every update. The hashtag is #taibanismutweek

There is also an AO3 collection where fans can post their works.

When does it run?

From July 31 (Sunday) to August 6 (Saturday) 2022.

Time zones aren't important for this event: as long as it's the right date where you live, you can post your fan-work! (And even if it's a little late… that's good too! :D )

As a creator, you don't have to do anything else. As a fan, you're encouraged to share and leave a feedback (comments, kudos, etc.) on what you like!

What does "General Prompts" and "GOOD LUCK MODE Prompts" mean?

"General Prompts" are typical ship week prompts, 1-2 words that usually let creators free to make the content they want without many restrictions.

"GOOD LUCK MODE Prompts" are alternate prompts for anyone who doesn't feel inspired by the first prompts or is looking for a challenge. They're based on canon titles from the series (#1 and #2 on season 1 cour 1, #3 and #4 on season 1 cour 2, #5 on the second movie, #6 and #7 on season 2 cour 1).

Every prompt can be interpreted the way you want!

I don't want to post NSFW works on my Twitter account. Can you post them for me?

Sorry, no.
You can make a different account to post NSFW content, or you can ask a friend to post your works in their account. You can also upload your works on AO3 only (the collection isn't only for fan-fictions: everything else can also be posted).

Can I post my works on Tumblr? Can I post them in other sites too?

You are the owner of your own fan-works, so of course you can post them in every place you wish. However, remember that the main event is on Twitter, and the other site with a Taibani Smut Week collection is AO3. If you post your work only in other sites, it's possible that fans won't see it.

Because of its NSFW ban, Tumblr is unfortunately not the right place for this kind of event. Taibani Smut Week admin has nothing against posting on Tumblr, but it's possible that your work will be considered against the rules there.

Do I have to create something for every prompt?

No, you can do as you wish!
If you want to create just a single fan-work for a single prompt, that's good! If you want to make new content every day for every prompt, that's good too! If you want to create 10 works for the same prompt, also good!

Can I create a single fan-work based on multiple prompts?

Sure!
You can create fan-content based on multiple prompts from different days, as long as you post your final work on Twitter just once. Choose one day one of your prompts is associated to and post your work.
You can also create works based on both the General Prompt and the GOOD LUCK MODE Prompt of the day.

Are there themes/kinks that are not allowed?

No. However, there are things that are considered off topic.
Please keep in mind that this is a ship week about sexual content between Kotetsu and Barnaby only.

A few examples of fan-content welcome for Taibani Smut Week:

Any top/bottom preference (top!Kotetsu/bottom!Barnaby, top!Barnaby/bottom!Kotetsu, switching, anything you can think of with the two of them)
Any sexual kink, as long as Kotetsu and Barnaby are the only characters having sex with each other. Tropes like "Bad guys made them do it" and "Accidental voyeurism" (someone accidentally seeing Kotetsu and Barnaby having sex) are also fine!
"Shippy" masturbation: Kotetsu and Barnaby can be alone masturbating in the explicit scene, as long as they're thinking about the other. Wet dreams, phone sex and sex via chat are also welcome!

A few examples of fan-content that does not belong to Taibani Smut Week because off topic:

Works focused on other characters/ships (mentions or appearances of side characters/ships are fine!)
Threesomes, poly relationships (OT3, etc.)
Platonic Kotetsu & Barnaby
Non-sexual works, works rated G or T on AO3, works where the sexual content is just off-screen or "fade-to-black"

Please add to the AO3 collection only works rated M (Mature) or E (Explicit).

Do I need to add warnings to the kind of content I post?

Yes, content warnings are heavily encouraged on both Twitter and AO3.

For extreme kinks, dark topics (violence, blood, major character death, etc.) and non-consensual sex they are especially recommended.
About other kind of content (kinky or vanilla), brief descriptions on Twitter of the kind of work you're posting are always useful for both fans of that content and people who want to avoid it. So even if they're not necessarily triggers, it's a good habit to write briefly what your work is about, especially if it features AUs or specific headcanons (examples: genderbending, mpreg, furry, mermaid AU, tattoos, trans headcanons, scars, etc.) or a specific top/bottom preference.

What happens if someone doesn't follow the guidelines?

In most of the cases, nothing. This event is not moderated, so the admin trusts your common sense and understands that some details are a little subjective, and someone could make good faith mistakes.
However, for extreme cases the admin reserves the right to block or report accounts that are acting in bad faith in the tag or in the comments (minors, bots, harassers, anyone who doesn't follow Twitter/AO3 rules, etc).

leave a comment below; you can post anon comments too, and you don't need a Dreamwidth account. Comments are screened, so the admin will approve them once they reply;
